Darkness 14:11
Darkness I had a dream, which was not all a dream. The bright sun was extinguish'd, And the stars did wander darkling In the eternal space, Rayless, and pathless, and the icy earth Swung blind and blackening in the moonless air; Morn came and went—and came, and brought no day, And men forgot their passions in the dread Of this their desolation; And all hearts were chill'd Into a selfish prayer for light: And they did live by watchfires—and the thrones, The palaces of crowned kings— The huts, the habitations of all things which dwell, Were burnt for beacons; cities were consum'd, And men were gather'd round their blazing homes To look once more into each other's face; Happy were those who dwelt within the eye Of the volcanos, and their mountain-torch: A fearful hope was all the world contain'd; Forests were set on fire—but hour by hour They fell and faded—and the crackling trunks Extinguish'd with a crash—and all was black. All earth was but one thought—and that was death Immediate and inglorious; And the pang of famine fed upon all entrails— Men died, and their bones were tombless as their flesh; The world was void, The populous and the powerful was a lump, Seasonless, herbless, treeless, manless, lifeless— A lump of death—a chaos of hard clay. The rivers, lakes and ocean all stood still, And nothing stirr'd within their silent depths; Ships sailorless lay rotting on the sea, And their masts fell down piecemeal: as they dropp'd They slept on the abyss without a surge— The waves were dead; the tides were in their grave, The moon, their mistress, had expir'd before; The winds were wither'd in the stagnant air, And the clouds perish'd; Darkness had no need of aid from them— She was the Universe.

Uneven 12:36
In a world of black and white Simplicity is King and order his Queen In a world of black and white All questions answered by yes or no In a world of black and white An existence of duality Simplicity is King and Order his Queen An existence of duality In a world of black and white The binary order of life All questions answered by yes or no The binary order of life All there is, was, and will be Count to two - All you can do Bring an end to this illusion of false hope Dark Ages’ logic obscuring the mind's eye All Uneven Bring an end to this illusion of false hope Options multiply without binary chains All Uneven Reject! Refuse a world of binary simplicity There's more than heaven or hell Accept complexity - an eternity of colours There's more than black or white Exist! Release the ties of the past Be one - free from this doom of men Oh, vile desire for order Our world drowns in manmade rules Deny these simple lies - Overthrow and grow Now open your once covered eyes Truth no longer hides All there is, was, and will be More than a mind can see

Lost (in the House of Doom) Lost in a dream, I long… for you Your eyes… haunt my nightly shade Lost in a dream, I long… for you Your voice… whispers in every corner So why? Why did you step… Out of the dream and into my life? Resistance was futile Surrender with a smile A sort of homecoming In your house and arms Never experienced and unexpected Turning life upside down and inside out In the house of doom My heart has its place For my entire life, alas I can find no room Lost in a dream, I long… for you Your scent… calls my inner nature Lost in a dream, I long… for you Your touch… will shiver my skin Lost in the house of doom My heart desires to stay Lost in my house of doom Exit through the back door In the house of doom My heart has its place For my entire life, alas I can find no room I’ll put out the lights So I don’t have to see I turn my back And go back… To my life – without you To my past – without us

Slowly I realize… I am awake Lying under the wings of a majestic tree Mystified by this returning life Is this heaven? It sure ain’t hell Wondering how I got here Getting up along the tree I hold its stem and freeze As its voice speaks to me… Please let me introduce myself I am your personal tree… of pain Growing ever since your first tears The living memory of all your grief My roots guided you from hell to life Lightening your wounds and heart All prepared for another start Thankful I bow and go I walk on… to yet another try To live, to love, and happiness Wondering what will bring me down – this time Wondering what will bring me down – in the end I walk on… to my life’s burial C’est la vie, que’on marche enfin… la marche funèbre Du berceau, jusqu'à la fin… la marche funèbre

A cold wind rose A sigh to chill In the valley of tears The roses’ grave... Love grew like blooming spring A long feast of passion fruit Though loathsome ghosts of the past Silently poisoned the hearts How did it come this far? All seemed fair and bright How did it come this far? To a love without light With every moon new tears came Initiating a catharsis of pain A manmade soul rebirth process That seemed never ever ending And the tears kept coming Like an ever flowing stream Asphyxiating valley into lake A sea of sadness…to drown in Loathsome ghosts of the past Poisoned the hearts And drowned all hope In the valley of tears The rose’s grave...

Benighted 08:33
A cry in the dark A sigh by dawn Benighted by nocturnal magick I dwell to meet a creature most divine Benighted, I seek night after night Enslaved by a supernatural desire I am drawn to Her mythical habitat Enslaved, I am drawn to Her... From dusk till dawn She reigns Where no light dwells Thou feelst Her omnipresent black aura Bewildered by a strange dark feeling I have to end my nocturnal search Bewildered, I stare in Her eyes O, most gracious Goddess of the Dark Thou enchanted me with Thy nocturnal charm Thou truly art a creature most divine O, Dark Enchantress, make me Thine O, Nocturnal Angel Let me look into Thine eyes Let me locked into Thy arms Every night from now Until eternity ends…
